Terms of service.
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all services provided by Aura Education (“the Company,” “we,” “our”). By booking and paying for our services, you (“the client”) agree to the following:
1. Services Provided
We offer:
Private tutoring (online or face-to-face)
Educational consultancy (school evaluations, academic strategy, fee analysis)
Early college admissions coaching (extracurricular planning, leadership initiatives, personal narrative development)
Details of services are listed on our website or confirmed in writing with clients.
2. Bookings & Payments
A booking is confirmed once payment has been received and an invoice or written confirmation issued.
All payments are made to Aura via bank transfer or other approved methods.
Packages and fees may vary depending on the scope of services. Updated fees will always be communicated in advance.
3. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refunds
Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled session will be refunded or rescheduled at no cost.
Cancellations within 48 hours or no-shows are non-refundable.
In cases of unforeseen circumstances (e.g. illness), sessions may be rescheduled at no additional cost.
Once a session or consultation has been delivered, fees are non-refundable, as the time and expertise provided cannot be recovered.
4. Disputes & Chargebacks
In the event of a payment dispute, we will provide supporting documentation including invoices, communications confirming lesson arrangements, and session logs (calendar or online meeting records).
Clients acknowledge that once tutoring or consulting services have been delivered, payments are final and not eligible for chargeback, as services rendered cannot be returned.
5. Confidentiality & Data Protection
All client and student information is kept confidential.
Personal data is collected only for the purpose of providing services, invoicing, and legal compliance.
We do not share personal data with third parties except as required by law.
6. Educational Materials
Lesson materials, plans, and resources provided are for the personal use of the student and family only, and may not be copied, distributed, or resold.
7. Parental Responsibility
For students under 18, all bookings must be authorised by a parent or guardian, who assumes default responsibility for communication and payment.
8. Limitation of Liability
We are committed to supporting academic progress; however, we cannot guarantee specific grades, outcomes, or university admissions results. Our liability is limited to the total fees paid for the service in question.
