Terms of service.

1. Services Provided

We offer:

  • Private tutoring (online or face-to-face)

  • Educational consultancy (school evaluations, academic strategy, fee analysis)

  • Early college admissions coaching (extracurricular planning, leadership initiatives, personal narrative development)

Details of services are listed on our website or confirmed in writing with clients.

2. Bookings & Payments

  • A booking is confirmed once payment has been received and an invoice or written confirmation issued.

  • All payments are made to Aura via bank transfer or other approved methods.

  • Packages and fees may vary depending on the scope of services. Updated fees will always be communicated in advance.

3. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refunds

  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled session will be refunded or rescheduled at no cost.

  • Cancellations within 48 hours or no-shows are non-refundable.

  • In cases of unforeseen circumstances (e.g. illness), sessions may be rescheduled at no additional cost.

  • Once a session or consultation has been delivered, fees are non-refundable, as the time and expertise provided cannot be recovered.

4. Disputes & Chargebacks

  • In the event of a payment dispute, we will provide supporting documentation including invoices, communications confirming lesson arrangements, and session logs (calendar or online meeting records).

  • Clients acknowledge that once tutoring or consulting services have been delivered, payments are final and not eligible for chargeback, as services rendered cannot be returned.

5. Confidentiality & Data Protection

  • All client and student information is kept confidential.

  • Personal data is collected only for the purpose of providing services, invoicing, and legal compliance.

  • We do not share personal data with third parties except as required by law.

6. Educational Materials

  • Lesson materials, plans, and resources provided are for the personal use of the student and family only, and may not be copied, distributed, or resold.

7. Parental Responsibility

  • For students under 18, all bookings must be authorised by a parent or guardian, who assumes default responsibility for communication and payment.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • We are committed to supporting academic progress; however, we cannot guarantee specific grades, outcomes, or university admissions results. Our liability is limited to the total fees paid for the service in question.
